Hi, I’m Vicky and welcome to my holiday apartment. I am a keen walker who loves exploring the many paths in our beautiful Yorkshire Countryside. I also love doing crafts including jewellery making.

I am happy to share some of my favourite local walking routes. We have so much beautiful countryside on our doorstep and are lucky to be in the centre of so many lovely places. 

 

The house itself was built in 1881 originally as a traditional local butcher’s shop and residence but since then has been a gift shop, graphic artist studio, music shop and now it hosts two floors of Abrahams Gallery.  In restoring the gallery and the holiday apartment we have tried as much as possible to find furniture and accessories from that period. You will especially note the gorgeous original windows offering the view across the top of the Main Street to Black Moor and beyond. All the frontages of the Main Street properties are Grade II Listed.

Please note this is a studio apartment with one double bed suitable for two guests. It consists of an open plan kitchen / living  / bedroom and  stairs down to a separate bathroom.
